History of wine: It is the most well-known brand in Rioja Alta, the brand that has given the most fame to the winery and a wine that has continued to evolve over the years without losing its well-known properties. A classic from La Rioja that can’t be missed in your winery. A wine appreciated by almost all palates, the wine that is most successful in big celebrations.
Winery: La Rioja Alta
Designation of Origin: DOCa Rioja
Elaboration: The manual harvest usually begins in mid-October and the grapes are transported refrigerated to the winery to preserve all their aromatic complexity. Once there, the must will ferment at a controlled temperature and the malolactic fermentation will last until the end of the year. In March, the best wines are selected to begin aging in barrels: Tempranillo for 36 months and Grenache for 30, both in French oak. During this time, 5 to 6 shifts are carried out that allow, among other things, the wines to be progressively cleaned and kept aerated for a correct evolution. Once both aging has been completed, the wines are assembled and bottled.
Service: Serve between 17-18ºC.
