Description
Wine: Viña Arana Gran Reserva
Varieties: 94% Tempranillo and 6% Graciano.
Alcohol: 14,5%
Winery: La Rioja Alta
Designation of Origin: DOCa Rioja
Elaboration: We started the harvest in Tempranillo and, 20 days later, we picked up the Graciano de Montecillo. All the grapes were transported refrigerated in small boxes to preserve their integrity. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks for 19 days. After malolactic fermentation, in April 2015 we made a selection of wines for aging in American oak barrels of our own manufacture with an average age of 4.5 years. They remained in the barrel for three years, being shaken by the traditional method every 6 months. In April 2018 we made the last blend, which we bottled in June 2018.
Service: Serve at 16ºC.
Pairing: Especially recommended with all kinds of meats and stews, seasoned fish, desserts covered in chocolate or red fruits. Perfect as a dessert glass.
