MARCH 2021 SELECTION: DO COSTERS DEL SEGRE VS DOQ Priorat

This March we bring you a face to face between the DO Costers del Segre and the DOQ Priorat, and the wineries Mas Blanch i Jové and Nunci Mas de les Pereres.

A selection to highlight both DOs and see the differences and unique powers of each.

The wines:

Petit Saó Blanc is a white without aging, a blend of Grenache Blanc, Macabeo, Viognier and Riesling, with a fresh profile.

Nunci Abocat is a blend of Macabeo, Grenache Blanc and Moscatel aged for 8 months on lees.

Saó Rosat has a fresh profile, made with Grenache Noir and Syrah.

Nunci Rosé is a more structured and full-bodied rosé wine, made with Grenache Noir, Cabernet Franc and Macabeo.

And finally, we put two long-aged red wines, Nuncito and Saó Abrivat, face to face to enjoy them calmly and with hearty dishes.

MAS BLANCH I JOVÉ

Buy wine mas blanch i joveMas Blanch i Jové is a family project the result of generations and generations of passionate farmers. Our godparents were passionate farmers. Their lifes was the land. They knew her, respected her and worked with love. They are the inspiration for this family project.

This ancestral trajectory led us in 2006 to create a small family winery in La Pobla de Cérvoles (Lleida) where we make wines that inspire under the DO Costers del Segre, subzone Les Garrigues.

NUNCI MAS DE LES PERERES

Nunci Priorat, Mas de les PereresDirk Hoet after six years of prospecting through the best wine areas in Italy, France and Spain, it is established in the Priorat in 1999. The Nunci Priorat project was born, buying the Mas de les Pereres winery and its lands. All this, in order to bring his passion to the real world and make his nuncio wines.
